I’m not known for my love of Christmas, so for me to own an album that contains nothing but Christmas songs will come as a shock to my friends and family. Well at least until they hear the album that is. It was released back in 1971 by a bloke called Douglas Leedy who was born in 1938 in Portland, Oregon. He studied all sorts of music in all sorts of weird and wonderful places, such as South Indian music in Madras.
The album is called ‘A Very Merry Electric Christmas To You’ and rather than waffle on about how much I like it, you can listen to it below and decide for yourself.
